We returned to the Grotto this year for Reverence for Sacred things.

For those not familiar with The Grotto, it is open to the public, no charge.

A lot of it is set up in the open air

A lot of candles around

and many religious statues all over to be discovered.

Many different things to discover.

Several wood carvings depicting Jesus's life.

All very exquisite.

I should mention there is a $3.00 charge to ride the elevator up. (this is looking down into the courtyard where all the candles were.

Ryan is showing off his new purse, and could that be a Trentin (future DeMolay) in the background?

The Virgin Mary with the Baby Jesus have an incredible view from up here.

Everyone seemed to want their picture taken here today, not just our group.

checking out one final display and plaque before the mystery date surprise.

After Reverence for Sacred things day, we had a surprise visit to St Helens.

We had our Comradeship day with Craig who was well enough to go bowling

Some of us had more style than others. (no.. she didn't fall.. .that is her bowling form)

All had fun.
